The Netherlands, where I live, doesn't belong to the nordic related countries. For some reason the art and culture does feel very familiar to me, to most Dutch people.
Since the first shop of the Swedish Ikea settled in the Netherlands, it's style has been popular by most of us here in Holland. Actually the first shop was based in the village I grew up and it was located next to my father's business. I call this my lucky coincidence.
I love the clean, modern and lightness look of the nordic prints and colors. To me it is always fresh and stylish.
